The idea is to design a pavilion that can accommodate one artist for 100 days and host 100 people for an exhibition in one day.

The central idea is to take lots of columns and organize them in a grid, like a cluster of trees to support a large curved roof. Weaving between these are curving walls that separate the artist's studio and exhibition area. It combines a grid of pine-oak wood columns on a stone foundation supporting a Laminated Timber beam structure that forms an inclined curved roof.

During the daytime, natural light streams through the peeling roof and casts on designated spots that guide visitors through the space. Rain can also enter through these openings and recirculate into a pond that envelops the pavilion, casting reflection into the interior space.
